Sinossi: Due maschere raccontano una/due storia di un vecchio e una ragazza.
Corto di animazione che parte dalle tecniche di collage DADA e riprende poi uno stile usato ampiamente dai Monty Python e ripreso per il videoclip di Money for Dope di Daniele Luttazzi. La storia viene raccontata da due maschere (L’uomo con la ruota nell’occhio è Jean Arp), presentando delle lievi differenze: si passa da una vicenda piuttosto delicata a una con toni più cupi, influenzati dall’immaginario morboso di Nick Cave (mi riferisco in particolare a “Where the wild rose grove”). La scenografia richiama le suggestioni DADA in cui oggetti barocchi si dispongono casulamente, senza regole, sullo sfondo, vibrando e agitandosi, prendendo convulsamente vita.

Synopsis: Two masks tell one/two stories about an old man and a girl.
It’s an animated short that has been inspired by the collage technique of the DADA movement, regain by the Monty Python and by a Daniele Luttazzi’s videoclip “Money For Dope”. The story is telling by two masks (the man with the wheel into the eye is Jean Arp), with slight differences: one is a pretty soft story, the other one is more dark, influenced by the morbid imaginary of Nick Cave (for example “Where the wild rose grove”). the set design recall the DADA’s style where baroque objects had been arrenged randomly, without rules, in the background, pulisng and shaking, comming convulsiving to life.
